Blackthorne comes along with the addition of a special new mode, called the Pawns. There are several new units and a number of gameplay adjustments. It seems like a nice addition to the game, but I haven’t had time to really fiddle with it.

GOOD ADDITION: blackthorne. I really like the concept of new units being able to come in and fight for you. The original Blackthorne was my favorite mod, so I was glad to see they expanded it. I liked some of the changes to the units like the caravans. I did not like some of the changes to the maps like there being a field growing along a mountain range and that caused significant terrain issues. I think adding another map, like we have in Blackthorne in a similar fashion to the vanilla map in medieval 2 would be good. It would be cool to have a random map generator that worked like the random unit/scenario generator. Especially since this would make it so that the random map generator would already be built in the total war games.

Second Age complete! Nothing is missing :) It's a good mod if you like medieval and total war games. I have seen some minor glitches, here and there, but I will continue testing. I give this mod a 9/10 (maybe a 8/10?).

i had to reinstall 1.5 to get the mod working and you did a nice job on the three stages, not only did you make a better unit with more movement, but bolder units with better equipment, a good overall game.
