Started Fdisk, made the partitions as follows. boot loader: first sector of the USB drive, followed by FAT32, extended (where MacOS X would install). Apple partition (Apple partition and main hard drive where OS X is installed). Appended it all up with a space (just so I can see the partition), and formatted the extended partition (this is where Apple BootLoader for Debian is installed). Surprisingly, Fdisk doesn't ask for my to create a DOS partition, just use MBR, so I did.
Restarted with the USB drive but only Apple Bootloader, and booted into OS X. But this doesn't boot the system, as it says no kernel loaded for booting. I don't know if this is because of the EFI system, or because I've set the CD to the first Sector of the drive(the one labeled Disk1). If I put the CD into EFI mode, then I won't be able to boot on the Apple partition. But I'm not sure how to get there. I also need to use the Carbon file manager in order to copy the.app that's on the other Apple partition (which has the GUI).
