Compared to Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle is the more dangerous batsman in the IPL. Records for the highest individual score (175), most sixes, and certainly the fastest strike rates fall to Gayle. Kohli is more your classical type of player—consistent and a top run-scorer. Gayle is, To my mind, the bigger threat in T20 cricket because of his superheavy hitting.
